The Indian Student Organization of Santa Cruz is a cultural awareness club. Most of the members are from different parts of India and that gives our club a diversity within a unity. We hold meetings on campus bi-weekly and are involved in other cultural activities that are taking place on campus. Our main objective is to make our presence felt ... not only on campus but off campus as well. We plan activities that raise awreness of our Indian culture. Such activities in the past include: -- Bhagra Jam '97 ..Bhangra Jam '98 ... ISO Culture Show in April 1998. This year we hope to have even a greater impact when we hold our Second Annual Culture Show .... ~ A journey through India ~ later on April 3, 1999.
